By Robin Mwanga, Scholarship Program Manager

At The Foundation For Tomorrow, every scholar’s journey tells a story of resilience, determination, and transformation. We are thrilled to shine a light on a few of our remarkable students who continue to inspire us with their achievements and spirit.

Saitoti, Denis and Shedrack: Essay Champions

Representing Arusha Modern School, Saitoti, Denis and Shedrack proudly participated in the National Essay Competition hosted by St. Jude’s. Each of them brought home multiple medals, and we could not be prouder.

Their success is a powerful reflection of their perseverance and dedication. When they first joined The Foundation For Tomorrow, English was not their strongest language as Kiswahili was their primary means of communication. Today, they are not only participating in English writing competitions but excelling in them. Their growth is extraordinary.

Asimwe: A Dream in the Making

Now in A-Levels at Magnificat School, Asimwe has been part of The Foundation For Tomorrow almost since the beginning. Watching her grow from a curious young girl into a confident and driven young woman has been a true privilege.

A brilliant student with a passion for engineering, Asimwe has faced personal challenges with courage and determination. With support from TFFT, her sponsors and mentors, she continues to thrive both academically and personally. We are excited to see her take steps toward achieving her dream.

Mary: A Young Leader on the Rise

Mary is currently in Nursery at Shepherds Primary School, and her journey is just beginning. Coming from a Kiswahili-speaking background, she is embracing English with enthusiasm, curiosity and determination. Her efforts are already producing consistent and impressive progress.

Mary’s leadership skills shine in every setting. At the Melodies of Opportunity Camp, she confidently led group activities. During the Youth Camp, she helped guide sessions and inspired her peers through her thoughtful actions. Her positive energy and eagerness to learn lift everyone around her.

Emmanuel: Welcoming the World

Emmanuel has been part of The Foundation For Tomorrow from very early on, and we are proud to share that he has recently started college where he is studying Tourism.

For Emmanuel, tourism is more than just a subject. It is a passion. With his warm smile, natural charisma and deep love for Tanzania, he is wonderfully suited to a career focused on welcoming others and celebrating the richness of his culture. His ability to connect with people makes him a true ambassador for his country.

Amani: A Bright Spark in Kindergarten

Amani, in kindergarten at Shepherds Primary School, is already showing strong academic potential. He is curious, attentive and always eager to participate, consistently impressing his teachers.

Outside of class, Amani is cheerful and sociable, especially when playing football with his friends. He shares a close bond with his mother and is deeply motivated to make her proud. Amani is a thoughtful and promising young boy, and your support continues to make a meaningful impact on his journey.

Each of these scholars reminds us of the power of education and the importance of opportunity. Their stories are full of hope and determination, and we are honored to support them every step of the way. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
