In 2006, The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) started with a simple conviction: that a child’s future should not be determined by the circumstances they were born into. This idea was nurtured by people who believed it was worth acting on and has continued to grow with each passing year.
Twenty years later, the impact has been seen and felt throughout our community of beneficiaries.
- 2,400 teachers trained
- 170,000 students reached through the Teacher Training Programs
- 100 current scholars
- 80 alumni who came through our programs and are now building their own lives and careers
Beyond the individuals, our impact has taken on a physical presence through our Learning Centre. This building works to serve an entire community by meeting the learner where they are in their educational journey. It is currently home to a library, a literacy lab, a computer training center, and a teacher training facility, with an entrepreneurship incubator and a scholarship and higher education advisory center on the way.
We did not build any of it by ourselves. Every child, teacher, and community learner who has come through TFFT arrived with everything they needed to become who they are now. What they lacked was the chance – and that is what the TFFT community has provided over 20 years.
