The World Scholar’s Cup is an international academic competition that inspires students, aged 8 to 18, toward a passion for learning and collaboration by competing in several events including Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge (a multiple-choice test), and Team Debate. Earlier this year, we received news that three of our scholars who participated in the Collaborative Writing competition received “Global Qualifier” recognition.
The 2025 theme was “Reigniting the Future” and the specific essay prompt for this year was “Do more laws make a society more just?” This topic was meant to encourage students to explore utopian and dystopian perspectives on the future and write a persuasive essay on this topic as part of the competition. Our three Global Qualifiers were Shedrack Kiria, Denis Asajile, and Saitoti Mayka.
