This September, I traveled to Dar es Salaam with fellow TFFT staff, Melissa Queyquep, Amani Nichols, and Robin Mwanga to attend the 5th International Quality Education Conference (IQEC 2025). Held under the theme “Strengthening Systems and Investments: Advancing Domestic Resource Mobilization for Inclusive, Quality and Sustainable Education in Africa,” IQEC 2025 provided a premier platform for Pan-African dialogue on advancing inclusive and equitable education.

Our participation underscored our role as educational leaders committed to strengthening systems that ensure quality learning for all children in Tanzania. We actively engaged in panel discussions, keynote sessions, and collaborative exchanges that not only showcased innovative solutions but also affirmed the relevance of our work in Tanzania within the broader African context.

The conference was also a powerful networking opportunity, allowing us to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government representatives, researchers, practitioners, and like-minded organizations. These engagements opened doors for future partnerships and highlighted the value of TFFT’s contributions in shaping conversations around sustainable investments in education.

Overall, IQEC 2025 reinforced that TFFT’s strategies and programs are both timely and impactful. The insights gained will guide us as we continue to strengthen our implementation, while our visibility at such a premier Pan-African convening further positions TFFT as a thought leader in the education sector.
