The Planning for the Future workshop was a one-day event held in July for three of our recent Form 6 graduates: Upendo, Glory, and Angela. Designed to help them prepare for the transition to university and beyond, the session offered a structured space to reflect on their strengths, values, and long-term aspirations. Through guided activities, the scholars completed personality assessments, explored their individual strengths, and reviewed academic and career options aligned with their interests. They also discussed how technological advancements and future job trends may shape their chosen fields, encouraging them to think strategically about opportunities in an evolving world. By the end of the workshop, each scholar developed a personalized action plan outlining their short- and long-term goals. Their current top career interests include Upendo’s ambition to become a teacher, Angela’s goal of becoming a lawyer, and Glory’s interest in cyber security. We are proud of all three scholars and look forward to supporting them as they take their next steps.
