TFFT’s Partnership with JA Africa Continues
We are so excited to announce our continued partnership with JA Africa! We look forward to this collaboration instilling essential business and entrepreneurial skills in each participant.
Through JA’s integrated Company Program, we will work with 500 secondary school students to help them develop an understanding of business and entrepreneurship through the creation of a company at their school with their peers. This program will:
-Provide secondary school students with critical success skills in financial literacy, project management, work-readiness and entrepreneurship skills
-Provide learners with an insight into what is required to establish and manage a small business
-Help participants understand, identify a business opportunity and organize resources to deliver a quality product, sell, save, and reinvest in their enterprises
Last month, we hosted a Training of Teachers where we trained 22 teachers from 11 different schools. During this session, we provided all teachers with the necessary resources to execute the program and familiarized them with the student and facilitator manuals.
Each partner school is now in their fourth week of the program and we are so excited to see what the students will continue to accomplish!
