In an ever-evolving digital world, the need to equip children with a strong emotional and ethical foundation is more urgent than ever. As screens become more present in their lives, so does the responsibility of parents to guide, support, and protect them. Recognizing this, The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) hosted a dynamic Parent Training Workshop in August at The Learning Centre, centered on the timely theme “Building Resilience in the Digital Age: Navigating Behavior & Social Media in Parenting.”
Held in collaboration with Mwangaza Centre, the session sparked deep and honest conversations about the real-life challenges parents face today raising resilient, grounded children in today’s hyper-connected world. Together, we unpacked the pressures of modern parenting, the influence of social media on young minds, and the behavioral changes that often come with it. Through shared stories, practical tools, and open dialogue, we cultivated a stronger network of informed, confident, and connected parents.
TFFT works closely with the parents and guardians of our scholars, fostering partnerships that prioritize the well-being and holistic development of every child. We believe that when parents are empowered with knowledge and practical strategies, they can model resilience, empathy, and responsibility. These are skills that children urgently need to thrive in a digital world.
Our Positive Parenting Training sessions are designed to equip caregivers with tools for intentional and compassionate parenting. These workshops emphasize the importance of being present, setting boundaries, and creating a nurturing home environment. These are essential pillars for raising grounded, emotionally healthy children in today’s world.
