TFFT believes quality education transforms lives and that teachers and school leaders both play key roles in achieving this. Teachers are crucial in overcoming the persistent barriers to equal access of education across the globe. Research in diverse countries and education systems show that teachers are the biggest in-school influence on student achievement and learning, especially for disadvantaged students. 

Because quality teaching is central to achieving access to high quality and equitable education for all learners, TFFT’s Whole Child approach includes taking stock in the teachers that make learning possible for our scholars. The ways in which we invest in teachers seek to facilitate the development of a wide community of learning.
