Health and Psychosocial Well-Being
Because we recognize that learning does not happen in a vacuum and both physical and emotional wellbeing influence the learning process, our Health and Psychosocial Program is a critical component of our Whole Child approach. We provide health insurance, health care, and counseling for all scholars. Because many scholars come from extremely vulnerable households, they are in need of extra support to bolster their wellbeing.
We continue to deepen our commitment to scholars’ holistic care and building resilience through programs and interventions. Parents are educated on positive parenting to compliment the psychosocial support the scholars receive, and we work to develop scholars’ leadership skills to foster engagement in community service.
